Popular Nashville singer and songwriter who went missing has been found dead

Popular singer and songwriter Terri Lynn Kathey was found dead in Tennessee.

The search for popular Nashville singer and songwriter Terri Lynn Kathey has reportedly come to a tragic end.

Tennessee’s ABC News 9 rreported that the 71-year-old was found dead at the Monteagle Welcome Center near Chattanooga on Tuesday.

Taste of Country previously reported that Terri and her husband, Kevin Kathey, owned a courier service in Nashville. Terri reportedly left at 4:30 a.m. Sunday to pick up a package near the Opryland Hotel in Nashville and has not been seen since. She was supposedly supposed to take it to Chatanooga.

“I believe investigators have been in contact with the family and local law enforcement in that area,” police told News 9. “The cause of death is unknown at this time, but it appears it was most likely a natural death.”

According to Taste of Country, Kevin Kathey is a drummer in Nashville and owner of Next Exit Productions. “The couple is deeply rooted in the Nashville music scene,” it says.
