Finally! A sunny weekend is coming – Chris

Happy Saturday and weekend everyone! This weekend is a treat as it will be mostly sunny for many of us. However, there may be a few clouds Saturday afternoon. Highs will be around 25 degrees across the city and 18 degrees further out in the state.

Sunday is the best day of the weekend. It’s always sunny, there’s even less wind and temperatures are between 21 and 25 degrees. It’s going to be a great day to enjoy nature before… well… EVEN MORE RAIN comes next week!

Let’s talk about it. Monday will start dry, but clouds will thicken throughout the afternoon and evening. Breezes from the south will push temperatures to 75 to 80 degrees. Rain will arrive in the late evening and overnight hours. Some stronger storms are possible, but no major storms are expected at this time. What is expected is heavy rain. By the time the rain ends on Tuesday, parts of the state could see 1 to 2 inches of rain.

Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon will be warmer with highs around 27 degrees and Wednesday will be a dry day with sunshine. Rain could return until July 4th and more rain could continue, possibly into next weekend.
