Ghost confirms release date for final season

Power Book II: Ghost has confirmed when the fourth and final installment will be available.

The upcoming season is divided into two parts and marks the end of the Power spinoff, which focuses on Ghost’s son Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.).

The first half of the fourth season will stream on STARZ in the US on 7 Junethe second episode follows on September 6thIn the UK, the series will air on Lionsgate+, with a release date not yet set.

The announcement came along with a new black-and-white trailer for the grand finale, which promises a dangerous showdown between Tariq and his buddy Brayden Weston (Gianni Paolo).

“With new alliances forged in each faction, Tariq and Brayden must find a way back into the game – and a way to protect themselves from ever getting into the same situation again,” reads the logline, hinting at a tricky matter for Brayden.

“But when Brayden begins to flirt with a new, reckless lifestyle, Tariq wonders if there’s really room for two at the top.”

“This explosive season of Ghost is a fitting culmination of a decade of the immensely popular series – fans will not be disappointed,” promises Kathryn Busby, President of Programming, STARZ. “Although this marks the end of a chapter, our commitment to the Power universe remains, and there are even more exciting stories on the horizon.”

The release dates for season four follow the announcement of a prequel series titled “Origins,” which will explore the origin stories of fan-favorite characters Ghost and Tommy.

Returning for the final chapter of Ghost are Mary J Blige as Monet Tejada, Cliff “Method Man” Smith as Davis MacLean, Woody McClain as Cane Tejada, Lovell Adams-Gray as Dru Tejada, LaToya Tonodeo as Diana Tejada and Alix Lapri as Effie Morales. The cast is rounded out by Larenz Tate as Rashad Tate, Caroline Chikezie as Noma, Lightskinkeisha as Brushaundria Carmichael and Michael Ealy as Detective Don Carter.

Power Book II: Ghost Part 1 will be released on June 7 and Part 2 on September 6 on the STARZ app in the US. The series will stream on Lionsgate+ in the UK.
