Miami’s Jeanine Mason to voice Eva in new animated fantasy series ‘WondLa’ on Apple TV+ – WSVN 7News | News, Weather, Sports from Miami

An adventure beyond this world would be to find out where you belong. And that’s exactly what Jeanine Mason is trying to do in the new series “WondLa”. She plays Eva, and no amount of training could prepare this character for what she would find beyond the bunker walls.

Jeanine Mason (as Eva, voice): “This is me, Eva, and this is Muther. I grew up underground in a bunker.”

Eva is ready to take a nasty “Mommy, shut up” journey on the TV show “WondLa.”

Teri Hatcher (as Muthr, voice): “The Earth was sick and needed time to heal without us.”

Jeanine Mason (as Eva, voice): “Mom, after years of training, I’m finally ready to meet other people.”

She may be ready to meet people, but are they ready to meet her?

Jeanine Mason from Miami is the voice of Eva.

Jeanine Mason: “I’m so much like a 16-year-old from Miami, so it wasn’t hard for me to use my imagination and transport myself back to that place.”

Teri Hatcher (as Muthr, voice): “Intruder in the sanctuary.”

Jeanine Mason (as Eva, voice): “What is that thing?”

Teri Hatcher (as Muthr, voice): “I don’t know, that vent leads to the surface. Go!”

Jeanine Mason (as Eva, voice): “Whoa! Where am I?”

The series follows the 16-year-old as she is forced to leave her refuge and discover a world she never expected.

Jeanine Mason: “No matter how intimidating a new situation can be – whether you are at a stage in your life where you have been uprooted or you are simply going through a period of instability – it is always worth remaining optimistic.”

The actress says she was born for the role.

Jeanine Mason: “Oh my God, I was so excited. I mean, honestly, it was all a dream, and every element of it was like, ‘Oh my God, I get to do this, I get to be an animated character.'”

And if Eva needed to explore something in the 305, Jeanine says she should go…

Jeanine Mason: “On a little cultural tour, and that would of course include Calle Ocho, Domino Park and the Freedom Tower, and then maybe a croqueta tour.”

“WondLa” is now streaming on Apple TV+.
