Young readers in the Midlands celebrate

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Let’s read, Midlands!

The Sunrise team believe in the power of reading and the importance of nurturing young minds. This summer we are excited to launch the Sunrise Bookclub, an initiative to celebrate schoolchildren across the Midlands immersing themselves in the world of books during their holidays.

If your child has read ten or more books this summer, they have a chance to be featured at Sunrise. Simply enter their name and list of books they have read in the registration form below. All grade levels are welcome to participate.

How to participate:

• Read ten or more books: Encourage your child to read and keep track of his books
• Submit your entry: Enter your child’s name and book list in the entry form below.
• Get featured: Tune in to Sunrise to see if your young reader is featured

Reading is not just a pastime, but also a gateway to adventure, knowledge and imagination. By participating in the Sunrise Book Club, students can:

• Earn recognition by being featured on Sunrise and having your successes celebrated on air.
• Inspire others by encouraging peers to pick up a book and discover new stories
• Build community by joining a network of young readers who share a love of books.
