Camila Cabello has a solution to end the feud between Kendrick and Drake because it’s “so frustrating to see this…”

The feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has been going on for months now and singer Camila Cabello is the latest celebrity to share her thoughts on the verbal spat. The American singer-songwriter recently spoke to the Sunday Times to promote her upcoming album C, XOXO. The album features two songs that feature the 37-year-old rapper. While talking about the album, the topic of the cold war between two rappers came up. Camila offered a simple solution that could help end the years-long feud.

Camila’s solution to the Kendrick-Drake feud

Camila, who collaborates with Drake on two tracks, namely Hot Uptown and Uuugly, had an appetizing solution to their rap war. As reported by People Magazine, when asked for her opinion, the singer said, “It’s so frustrating when people talk negatively about someone you know.”

She went on to offer a solution to end this war: “You think, ‘Damn, if only you guys could eat together or something.'” However, she did not name either rapper in her statement on the matter.

Camila was able to get the Canadian rapper to feature on two tracks from her latest album by sending him direct messages, she said in the interview.

The timeline of the Kendrick and Drake feud

The feud between rappers Drake and Kendrick has been going on for years now. The two initially had a good relationship when they first worked together in 2011. But since the collaboration, nothing has been the same.

After becoming a household name in 2013, Kendrick provoked many big names in the rap industry, including Drake with Big Sean’s “Control.” Drake hit back with a song of his own that same month, Billboard reported. The song war continued in 2015-2016, but nothing that sparked major controversy.

In October 2023, Drake released a track with J. Cole, to which Kendrick responded with his surprise drop. Since then, the two have been trading tracks back and forth, with each of them releasing three tracks targeting the other. In the last round, Drake released The Heart Part 6 and Kendrick released Not Like Us. The dispute escalated when the latter’s response peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
