Are Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt expecting their third child together? Sources say

Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt are expecting baby number 3, according to several media outlets. The 34-year-old author of “Good Night Sister” and the 45-year-old Marvel star are already parents of two girls, Eloise Christina, 2, and Layla Maria, 3. Pratt is also the father of an 11-year-old son, Jack, from his ex-wife Anna Faris.

The parents-to-be have spoken about their parenting experiences on several occasions in the past, and their views on raising children are healing and heartwarming at best. Scroll down to take a look at some of them.

“When I became a mother, I felt like everything in my life had led me directly to this baby being placed on my chest, and it was perfect,” the children’s author wrote in a 2021 essay on her mother Maria Shriver’s website. The BDA Baby host, who is the eldest of Maria’s four children with ex-husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, detailed that while she always had great respect and admiration for her mother, that respect and admiration increased tenfold after she became a mother herself.

Schwarzenegger said she admires her mother and hopes to be half as perfect as her.

Her husband Chris Pratt is convinced that Katherine is already doing remarkable work.

“Watching you be a mom to Lyla and Eloise and a stepmom to Jack makes me fall in love with you more every day,” he wrote to his wife in an Instagram tribute for Mother’s Day this year.

Katherine, however, spoke at DSW’s Best Foot Forward event in March last year and revealed that she won’t be able to do it all without the support of her mother, sister and friends. “I don’t want to do it all alone,” she said at the conference, adding: “I want to lean on my sister, I want to lean on my mother, I want to lean on my friends, my mother’s friends.”

It should be noted that the Schwarzenegger-Pratt family has not yet commented on the reports that another baby is on the way.

Meanwhile, Katherine shared photos from a family outing on Friday, writing: “Things that make me happy: A dreary morning followed by a visit to the stables.” The expectant mother was only seen on the carousel in the first photo, in which she wore a black sweatshirt and turned her back to the camera.

On Monday, June 24, the family visited the Santa Barbara Zoo. “When it finally feels like summer,” Schwarzenegger wrote.
