Taylor Swift plays song for the eighth time at acoustic set in Dublin

Taylor Swift performed her favorite acoustic song for the eighth time at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday.

“I try to hit the mark with these things, but I don’t know, I feel like you guys are the best sing-along audience tonight,” the singer, in her bright blue dress, told the sold-out crowd.

She launched into an acoustic guitar version of “State of Grace” from “Red (Taylor’s Version)” before adding her most-played surprise song, “You’re On Your Own Kid” from “Midnights.” Swift has previously performed the friendship bracelet anthem seven times in Tampa, Florida, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Tokyo, Singapore, Lisbon, Portugal and Lyon, France.

She then moved to the piano to play “Sweet Nothing” from “Midnights” and “Hoax” from “Folklore.” In “Sweet Nothing,” Swift sings about a pebble she got from Wicklow, Ireland, which is most likely the reason she chose the song.

“Hoax” was also the last song on Folklore that Swift didn’t perform on the tour. This era is now the third in which she has sung all the songs after “Midnights” and “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).” Here is a list of all her acoustic performances.

The star of the Eras Tour has two more appearances in the Irish capital.
