How Taylor Swift referenced Travis Kelce during her Eras tour in Dublin

How Taylor Swift referenced Travis Kelce during her Eras tour in Dublin

Travis Kelce is Taylor Swift’s number one priority as she heads to Dublin, Ireland for her Eras tour.

The 34-year-old singer was in the middle of performing “Midnight Rain” at Aviva Stadium on Friday night when she emphatically struck Kelce’s archer pose, earning her a rousing applause. As everyone knows, Kelce famously strikes this pose just before running onto the field with the rest of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

Yes, Swift has used the same pose in the past when belting out “The Archer,” which she cut from her setlist in May to make room for new songs from her latest album. The “Tortured Poets” section.

Still, that didn’t stop her from striking the archer’s pose at London’s Wembley Stadium last week while singing “So High School” to Kelce and friends. The song, which is featured on Swift’s surprise double album, The section “The Tormented Poets”: The AnthologyThe actor is rumored to be a three-time Super Bowl winner.

But the archer pose wasn’t the only nice Kelce allusion on Friday night in Dublin. According to Page SixSwift also re-wore her Tiffany & Co. diamond wire ring, which features the couple’s diamond-encrusted initials.

Swift will perform in Dublin all weekend, then take a few days off and continue her performances in Amsterdam next week.

Before her performance in Dublin, Swift shared the beautiful message and the bouquet of flowers that U2 had sent her. Swift responded in her Instagram story, saying, “I’m already feeling the Irish hospitality” and thanking the legendary Irish rock band “for their classiness and coolness.”

The note read: “Dear Taylor, welcome back to our hometown… leave any of this?!!!! Your Irish fan club.” The note was signed by frontman Bono, guitarist The Edge, bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen Jr.

And speaking of great hospitality, the Dublin Traffic Police (similar to the British Army) also joined in the action by performing “Shake It Off”, which attracted a large crowd to the streets of Dublin.

But that’s not all. The city erected a huge sign on a Dublin beach to midnight singer. According to a local radio station, the gigantic “Ireland (Taylor’s Version)” sign was “as big as two Olympic swimming pools.”

By the way, for all those who are wondering why Kelce takes the archer pose before every game, the NFL star explained it back in October on his New heights Podcasts.

“I do the archer pose when I enter the stadium because I wanted to do something when I ran out of the tunnel,” he said. “What really motivated me is to dream big and always reach for the stars. So I’m always out there reaching for the stars.”

And he had big dreams.

What began with a failed attempt to give her a friendship bracelet led to the creation of the most famous couple in the world.
