Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 Release Schedule | When is Episode 5 on MGM+?

The series focuses on a new cast of characters led by Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.), the son of notorious drug dealer Ghost (Omari Hardwick), who follows in his father’s footsteps.

The fact that this is the last season of the spin-off is likely to be sad news for fans of the series, especially since it is the only show (apart from the original series) that has ended so far.

Both Book III: Raising Kanan and Book IV: Force will continue, and there is news that a new prequel series called Origins is also in the works.

Kathryn Busby, head of programming at Starz, gave a preview of the upcoming season, saying at the announcement of the series’ cancellation: “This explosive season of Ghost is a fitting culmination in a decade of an immensely popular franchise – fans will not be disappointed.”

The first episode of Power Book II: Ghost, Season 4, was released on Friday, June 7. In the UK, episodes are released weekly on Fridays on MGM+.

This means that the fifth episode will be available on the streamer on Friday, July 5, 2024.

What will happen in Power Book II: Ghost Season 4?

The official synopsis for Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 reads: “With the explosive finale of Season 3, it’s Tariq St. Patrick and Brayden Weston against the world. With new alliances in each faction, Tariq and Brayden must find a way back in the game – and a way to protect themselves from ever being in the same situation again.”

“But when Brayden starts flirting with a new, reckless lifestyle, Tariq wonders if there really is room for two at the top. Monet may have finally met her maker, but she has no idea who is behind it.

“Davis, suspended after his brother’s death and facing dismissal from the bar, is fully devoted to the criminal side of his business, working for both sides – his loyalty depending on which side benefits him the most. Faced with the reality that life can end in only a few ways, Effie sets out to get out and secure a legitimate future at Stanford.

“After last season’s betrayal, Diana and Dru question their roles in the game and the family business, while Cane sees an opportunity to move up when he starts working for Noma. While Noma struggles to establish her business in the States, she also tries to keep an eye on her sassy daughter Anya, who is now on Tariq and Brayden’s radar.
