The finale of the 45th season of “Survivor” has many successes, including great success with a younger audience

Rosario Dawson, Andre Holland, Sonoya Mizuno and Ann Dowd are now part of the voice cast of Netflix’ Terminator Zerothe first animated iteration of the franchise. The Quad joins the previously announced Timothy Olyphant in the series.

The eight-part series is produced by Skydance and comes from the Japanese animation studio Production IG. It is part of the Terminator Universe, but will revolve around new characters.

Dawson will play Kokoro, described as “an advanced AI and Japan’s answer to Skynet.” “When Kokoro comes online, he will be equipped with the same power as Skynet. Kokoro must decide for himself: Is humanity the scourge that Skynet believes it is? Or are people worth saving?” Holland will play Malcolm Lee, “a genius computer programmer and father of three who is haunted by prophetic nightmares of an apocalyptic future.” Mizuno will play Eiko., “a resistance fighter who is sent back in time to stop Malcolm from sending Kokoro into space.” Dowd will play the Prophet, a “philosophical leader for the human resistance who leads the survivors into an unknown future.”
