New summer concert series on nostalgic slopes in Park City

Park City’s slopes are famous in winter, but this summer you can enjoy a new experience at 2,130 meters altitude.

Concerts on the Slopes brings an exciting lineup of musicians for unforgettable outdoor concerts all summer long. Enjoy world-class talent alongside breathtaking natural beauty at concerts presented by the Park City Institute in Park City Resort’s Canyons Village.

A short vacation in your own garden

There’s nothing quite like the nostalgia of outdoor summer concerts, where you can hear some of your favorite artists from the past and present. Canyons Village offers concertgoers a truly five-star experience, yet a relaxed atmosphere – the perfect recipe for feeling like you’re on a getaway. Except this excursion is only 20 miles up the canyon.

This is a great way to create amazing memories without having to break the bank on an expensive vacation. With cool mountain breezes and star-filled evenings, a night in Park City is an escape from the hot summer days of the Salt Lake Valley.

Past concertgoers rave about the great sound, easy access, reasonable prices, and world-class BBQ at Concerts on the Slopes. You can experience what many are calling Utah’s best new outdoor event!

Whether your style is more classic rock, pop or country, Concerts on the Slopes has the event for you. Check out some of the artists coming to Park City in 2024 below. For the full lineup of this summer’s artists, visit the Concerts on the Slopes website.

Spaceship

With hits like “We Built This City” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” Starship is instantly recognizable and will take you back to the ’80s on July 12. Unlike perms and shoulder pads, this is a part of the ’80s worth reliving!

UB40

This 90’s style band is coming to Utah on July 19th. Attendees will love the good vibes and signature beats of the English pop-reggae group. UB40 will play songs from their new album “UB45” as well as classic hits like “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You” and “Red Red Wine”.

Lead singer of Classic Rock

Hear your favorite classic 80’s rock songs from the lead singers from Boston and Chicago on July 20th.

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

You can see the three-time Grammy winners for the last time on August 10th when they make a stop in Utah on their farewell tour. The group’s mix of folk, country, rock and bluegrass has spawned a career spanning five decades that appeals to multiple generations.

Spoon

Jamieson Cox of Time Magazine praised Spoon as “…one of the greatest American rock bands of their generation…” Fans of the indie rock band can look forward to a performance by the popular group on August 11th.

Aly and AJ

You saw them on Disney as a kid, you rocked out to “Potential Breakup Song” as a teen – now you can see Aly & AJ live as adults. The duo’s latest incarnation is less pop and more “dream rock.” Catch the show on August 23.

Josh Turner

Josh Turner, one of country music’s most distinctive voices, brings his deep Southern accent to Park City on August 24. Dance under the stars to hits like “Your Man” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance.”

Sarah Evans

Sara Evans is a multi-platinum entertainer with several Top 100 Billboard singles such as “Suds in the Bucket” and “A Little Bit Stronger” and is known for her powerful voice. The fiery artist will perform at Concerts on the Slopes on August 31st.

Tips for your Concerts on the Slopes experience

The Concerts on the Slopes venue offers several seating options. Reserved seating is located directly in front of the artist. There are approximately 500 reserved seats in three sections: audience right, audience center, and audience left. For general admission tickets, bring a blanket or a low-back (less than 9 inches) beach chair and relax on the lawn.

You can bring picnic baskets, food and non-alcoholic beverages to the venue, so pack some charcuterie and enjoy the show with your family or friends!

All concerts take place at Canyons Village on Park City Mountain. To get there, take the convertible and exit on the right. This lift operates from 4pm to 11pm. Public transportation is free throughout the greater Park City area, so carpooling (or using free public transportation and e-bike systems) is highly recommended.

Please allow enough time for arrival and departure as you will need to use the elevator.
