Nas & Jay-Z’s first collaboration “No Love Lost” officially released –

Shaquille O’Neal is perhaps best known today for his appearance on Insights into the NBA and as a spokesman for Icy Hot, but he returns to his roots as one of basketball’s GOATS – as well as a successful rapper. His third album, You can’t stop the rulehas just been released on all streaming platforms and commemorates a legendary collaboration between Jay-Z and Nas.

Consequence reports that one of the standout tracks, “No Love Lost,” is the first time listeners have officially been able to hear the original version of the song. Nas’ verse, which was not cleared for the release of a previous O’Neal album in 1996, adds a new dimension to the track.

While Shaq has established himself as a capable MC and Lord Tariq is showcasing his own talent, Jay-Z and Nas undeniably steal the show on “No Love Lost.” Both artists were in their mob era and penned powerful verses. Jay-Z boasts, “We stepped it up, you never want a fight/ Get wet by the shell that let out the bezel.” Nas counters with lines like, “I sell my loot twice a week/ On the most insignificant streets/ By the laws of life you abide by, you have no right to eat.”

You can’t stop the rule also includes other notable collaborations, including the title track featuring a Notorious BIG feature, as well as appearances from Mobb Deep, Rakim, and DJ Quik.

Listeners can listen to “No Love Lost” and the entire You can’t stop the rule Album on the major streaming platforms.
