The Dream hit with flood of reviews for his live singing

The-Dream is a living legend. During his illustrious career, the singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia has accomplished so much. He has worked on some of the biggest hits in R&B and rap history and contributed his signature tenor voice to other artists. However, some days, as a musician, you can’t bring your best. It happens to even the best of the best, and for The-Dream, it happened earlier this month. Footage has just surfaced from the Roots Picnic – an annual music festival in Philadelphia. The two-day event featured artists such as Lil Wayne, The Roots, Smino, Sexyy Red, Andre 3000 and The-Dream all in attendance for the 16th edition.

It looks like it was recorded by an audience member while the veteran was on stage. The-Dream’s vocals immediately seemed off or out of key, and the audience immediately reacted with self-imposed embarrassment. Perhaps the funniest moment of the entire video occurs when the camera focuses on the fan recording the questionable performance. She can’t help but look completely confused and baffled.

The-Dream’s voice leaves the audience speechless: Watch

People in The neighborhood conversationThere were similar reactions in the comments section, while some weren’t as baffled. “I mean he was never a great singer but he definitely has some great stuff ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ,” says one user. Another echoes the sentiment: “He’s always sounded like that…” Others just couldn’t hold back their laughter. “NOT ANYONE IN THE AUDIENCE LITERALLY COVERING THEIR EARS!!!! LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.” One even made a witty pun: “When dreams turn into nightmares๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.” It’s not a shining moment for The-Dream, but at least he’s still trying his best no matter what.
