During a recent interview with Men’s Health to discuss the publication of A quiet place: day oneQuinn delved a little into the upcoming Fantastic Four MCU reboot. When Quinn considered continuing the role of Chris Evans’ Human Torch in the Marvel films of the 2000s, he recognized the great “Responsibility” to play the iconic hero, given “These characters interest people“, and assured that he will take on the task”very seriously” to stay true to what audiences expect from the role. It was great! It was a really nice way to announce it – it was very sweet and people responded well to it. It’s a little surreal, of course. I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that these things are very close to people’s hearts. People care about these characters and what heroism means to them, and that they can provide light in dark times and also provide examples of how to conduct yourself without getting too cocky. It’s a responsibility that I take very seriously, and we all do. And we’re going to have a lot of fun with it, too.
