Bar manager held Taylor Swift cutout as Travis Kelce joined his podcast (exclusive)

While Jason and Travis Kelces New heights The podcast is usually recorded in their hometowns of Philadelphia and Kansas City, but the latest episode took them across the pond. The brothers were in London to support Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift during her Eras tour – and they still managed to make the place feel like home.

Given Jason’s ties to the Philadelphia Eagles (he announced his retirement after 13 seasons in March), Passyunk Avenue seems the only logical place in the English capital for the recording. The Philly-inspired dive bar in the heart of London welcomed the brothers on June 22 – a day after Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce attended their first Eras tour show at Wembley Stadium.

Travis, 34, ordered a beer and a cheesesteak “immediately after he arrived,” manager Jessi Riley tells PEOPLE.

“We had a ‘Swiftie party’ later in the day and it was especially funny because I was putting up the Taylor Swift cutout when Travis walked in,” Riley says. “I said something like, ‘Sorry about the girlfriend, we have a Taylor Swift after-party tonight,’ and he said, ‘Me too.’ He was a little early so I wasn’t expecting him for another 45 minutes, so I was standing there with his girlfriend!”

Riley’s first encounter with Jason, 36, wasn’t quite as eventful, but just as sweet. “He seemed like a face I already knew,” Riley says. “He came in and gave me a big hug around the shoulders, and it felt totally normal.”

Riley eventually appeared on the couple’s podcast episode, serving traditional British cuisine, including a full English breakfast and afternoon tea.

Joining Jason and Travis at the bar was 32-year-old Kylie, who decided to leave her very own souvenir at the venue.

“Our bar has a bit of a heritage,” JP Geti, a Philly native and founder of Passyunk Avenue, tells PEOPLE. “Everything you see on the walls has been donated by people over time, so it’s like a collection of other people’s stuff hanging proudly in our bar.”

“One thing that’s happened over time is that people take American dollar bills and write messages with Sharpies and put them all over the place,” adds Geti, who founded Passyunk in 2018 after noticing the lack of dive bars in London. “When Jason and Kylie were getting ready to leave, she said, ‘Jason, give me a bill, I want to write a message and leave it,’ and Jason said, ‘I only have a 100,’ so Jason pulls out a 100 and she says, ‘Okay, fine, I’ll write on a 100, let’s do that.’ The message was, ‘F— Dallas, Go Birds and Go Cabrini,’ where she went to college.”

“She insisted on standing on a chair and securing it herself to the highest point in the venue, and I kept thinking, ‘Please don’t fall,'” Riley says. “She said, ‘If you’re worried about liability, just look away!'”

“She’s so cool, very down to earth,” Riley adds.

Also on display at Passyunk Avenue is a replica of the Mummers costume that Jason wore during a parade after the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018. The piece was proudly displayed next to Jason during the podcast recording, along with the massive collection of friendship bracelets he had assembled the night before.

“They stood before him like a trophy,” laughs Riley.

“We had to keep it a real secret that they were going to be here, but a few people found out,” she continues. “It was pretty surreal. They’re just really funny together. Once they start talking, they’re amusing each other, and Travis said it’s been like that since they were kids.”

Geti adds: “They’re just really down-to-earth guys.”
