We have to wait a long time for the new Sims, but July 25 The Sims 4 receives another expansion – this time with a focus on love. Love Struck will be released on PC (Steam, Origin and Epic Games Store) as well as on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

If you purchase the expansion by September 5, you’ll receive bonus items: Cry Me a River Eyeliner, Herbert Heart Plush, and the Basic Breakup Twin Bed. The expansion costs $39.99 (currently, all older expansions are on sale).

If anyone had any doubts, The focus of the expansion is on enriching the Sims’ love experiences. The game gets a new city with three districts, as well as the Cupid’s Corner application, where you can create a dating profile. This will allow you to use the new system to plan “hotter” dates, determine what attracts and turns off your Sim, and access romance skills.

Fans are probably not overly excited about the expansion. At least not those playing on PC, where fan mods long ago added many romance-related options (including the naughtier ones; via Reddit). However, Love Struck finally allows you to enjoy similar features on consoles. Plus, there’s a new city for everyone to explore.

Another problem is that fans aren’t sure if these new features justify the expansion’s relatively high price tag.
