Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra and Buds 3 Pro seem ready to attack Apple

There are only 12 days left out of Samsung’s next big Unpacked eventWhile we’ve already been expecting a big foldable release with the release of new versions of the Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones, there’s apparently a lot more planned. A notorious leaker shared brand new renderings for a Galaxy Watch Active2 and some real AirPods that mimic the Galaxy Buds.

Evan Blass posted the images to X on Thursday. The routine whistleblower is known for spreading accurate Android gossip, so there’s a good chance these leaks will be similar to what we’ll see in July. As far as phones go, most people in the know are expecting Samsung to reveal the successor to the Galaxy. Z Flip 5 and that Z-Fold 5Based on the new images alone, the clamshell phone appears to be very, very similar to the 2023 model. It appears to have a 3.6-inch external screen and an equally large internal display.

Compare that with the Motorola Razr and Razr+ for 2024. The $700 Razr has a 3.6-inch external display, while the Razr+ has increased the external screen to 4 inches. Pricing for foldable devices could be a big issue considering OnLeaks previously shared renders of the same phone. said The Z Flip 6 could cost $1,100, $100 more than last year.

The situation is similar with the Z Fold 5, which has three sensors on the back. Compared to competitors such as the Google Pixel Fold and the One Plus Open, the Z Fold is relatively slim. Rumors have suggested that Samsung might try to stretch the phone to a standard smartphone width. The next phone could also be a bit thinner than last year’s version.

The navy blue seen in the render also matches Blass’ previous leaks Details on the upcoming color palette. What’s especially exciting for the fairy princess in all of us is that this could be a new pink Z Fold 6.

While the phones look like minor upgrades from 2023, the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds ranges are the Samsung products that are seeing the real shake-up. First up is the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. The images support previously leaked renders which show a rounded dial attached to a square frame. The display itself shows a classic sports watch motif that positioned to meet the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2 robust design. It also resembles the Galaxy Watch Classic, but rumors of SmartPrixwhich also shared early renders of the watch, suggests it could have programmable action buttons and a more robust design.

The rendering of the Galaxy Watch 7 looks similar for the Galaxy Watch 6 with its minimalist design. It has the same watch strap attachments, although the rendering shows a watch face design that displays the step count along the edge of the display.

In addition, these Galaxy Buds bear a striking resemblance to Apple’s AirPods. We have heard enough concrete rumors from reliable informants that suggest that they will have the promised Galaxy Buds 3 ProThis would be a major departure from in-ear Galaxy Buds 2 ProThe left and right buds are marked red and blue respectively. to remind the user which ear it goes into. This also corresponds to the completely redesigned housing to support the longer earbuds. The rendering includes a steel gray finish that looks surprisingly industrial for a pair of earphones.

The only thing missing from these leaked images is the promised Galaxy Ringwhich we expect to see during the upcoming Unpacked show. The company’s executives already promised we would get a new health and wellness wearable in the “second half” of this year. Samsung presents its hardware range for summer 2024 July 10th in France. See you soon.
