Patricia Zarlingo, 31, has entered into a deal and agreed to plead guilty to all charges related to the death of 16-year-old Chassidy Broadstone in January 2023.

Zarlingo pleaded guilty to two counts each of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder and aggravated arson, as well as one count each of aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence, and is the last of three suspects in connection with the Warren teenager’s fatal arson.

Zarlingo now faces a life sentence; the verdict is expected soon.

Zarlingo accepted the deal Friday in Trumbull District Court presided over by Judge Sean O’Brien.

One of the suspects, Zackary Gurd, pleaded guilty to his involvement in the crime in December 2023, and another suspect, Brendan Daviduk, entered into a plea deal regarding his involvement in the crime in early June. None of the suspects have been convicted to date.

More specifically, investigators say Gurd was the one who brought a can of gasoline into the house on the night of the crime, and Daviduk and Zarlingo were there to steal property as part of a child support dispute with some of the children living in the house.

Chassidy was not one of the children involved in this dispute.
