Joe Scarborough tells Mika Brzezinski to calm down

The situation was very tense on the set of Good morning, Joe as co-moderator Mika Brzezinski had something against the fact that everyone was Joe Biden’s Debate performance as a disaster.

Co-host Joe Scarborough argues Donald Trump will win the election in November, “unless there is a change,” according to the CNN debate. Mike Barnicle said Biden let “every fastball” fly past him and was not ready for the debate.

Then Brzezinski intervened and asked everyone to “calm down”.

“Everyone calm down and I’ll tell you why. It’s OK not to twist too much about what happened last night and we’re not going to do that. He had a terrible night,” she said.

“Mika, everyone is quiet here. You’re the only one raising your voice. Everyone is quiet here,” Scarborough said to a frustrated Brzezinski.

“It’s like, ‘Let’s get this done right now, let’s end this, let’s find someone else,'” she said.

“Mike didn’t say that,” Scarborough interjected.

“That attitude about it…that’s what I’m saying: Let’s slow down, because, again, there’s no getting around it, but let’s be balanced. Let’s show some balance in a media world that is so shrill with imbalance,” Brzezinski explained.

“We always show balance.

Second, nobody is panicking. I said these are questions that the Democrats and Joe Biden need to ask themselves, and Mike said he missed pitch after pitch down the middle and was unable to last night,” Scarborough responded.

He added that the window of opportunity for Democrats to select their November ballots is “closing very quickly.”

“We don’t need to panic now to understand what is at stake in this election,” he said.

The tense exchange between Scarborough and Brzezinski was cut out Good morning, Joe when the station rebroadcast part of the show at 8 a.m.
