Kevin Hart explains hilarious club video with Latto and Usher

I know you 20-somethings can’t wait to get out and party the weekend away, but eventually you’ll get tired of all the hustle and bustle of clubbing and long for quiet nights at home with your favorite food and comfy clothes.

When those days come, the last thing you want is loud clubs, overpriced drinks and obnoxious people. Kevin Hart recently found himself in a situation where he was stuck at the club, dreaming of a simpler, quieter night. Unfortunately for the superstar, his reaction went viral.

Lattice posted a clip of herself at the club having the time of her life with Usher and Hart, but the “Ride Along” star’s lack of enthusiasm caught everyone’s attention. Everything about his face and body language says, “I’d rather be anywhere but here.” The video quickly spread across the internet, and the whole world started making jokes about Kevin.

A person replied with a clip of the Philadelphia native and the caption “Me when my social battery runs out.”

Another user got into the head of the “Night School” actor, Write“Kevin looks like he wants to know why the hell am I here?”

“Kevin can’t remember why he’s there,” wrote a user who understands Hart’s pain.

The actor/comedian spoke about the clip and said Complex that what we saw was “a real moment.” Apparently Usher told Kevin they were “going to a little lounge atmosphere,” but it ended up being a club.

“What you saw was just someone who experienced the nightlife and partying to that extent, and I was ready to go home,” he said. “I was ready to get my ass home.”

“And that’s nothing against the club, by the way. I want to make that very clear,” Hart continued. “I think the energy in the club is great, and there’s a time, a place where I might be able to enjoy that or be a part of that… but that’s not a recurring thing for me. Not at this point in my life.”

The “Fight NightThe star also has a very real reason why he doesn’t go out on the club scene anymore. And honestly, maybe more men should take this approach.

“I’m scared of looking like the old guy in the club,” he said. “I never want people to look up and say, ‘Why is he here?’ I find that aggressive. ‘Oh God, do you see Kevin over there in the corner? Why is he here? It’s 21st, 22nd night. Why did he come?’ Meeting my kids’ school friends, that’s just aggressive. I don’t need that kind of problem. I go home and I’m happy.”

We’ve all been in Hart’s situation: you’re stuck at a party and you just want to go home. To be honest, most of us are lucky that we don’t have cameras tracking our every move.

By the way, be glad you’re not a woman who has to hang around in a crowded club with only two bathroom stalls. That will definitely give you a sour look on your face.
