Paris Hilton surprises people when she switches to ‘real voice’ mid-sentence

Paris Hilton surprised her fans by revealing her supposedly “real” voice during her campaign for child welfare.

Hilton, a 43-year-old American businesswoman and media personality, recently served as a staff member on a congressional committee focused on strengthening child protections.

The New York native, who testified earlier this week that she was institutionalized and “sexually abused” as a teenager, was part of the panel that advocates for better protection for children in juvenile facilities.

One particular moment from the hearing is going viral, prompting fans to demand that the hotel heiress should pursue a political career. Watch the moment below:

As the mother of two discussed her experiences with the House committee, she was asked by 63-year-old U.S. Representative Claudia Tenney how she thought mental health and counseling support could be integrated into child protection programs.

In response, The simple life Star said: “Thank you, I enjoyed our Zoom call. I love your jacket. The sparkles are amazing.”

“I had some bling on today,” Tenney added, before Hilton joked, “I was going to find out who made it later.”

After exchanging polite words, the media icon changed her tone of voice and used a deeper, more serious tone to address the difficult topic.

She called for children to have access to therapeutic counseling, mentoring and other community-based programs.

“I think it’s also important not to label these kids as ‘problematic’ or ‘bad.’ I think that makes these kids feel like they’re not believed, and that’s something that’s important so they don’t feel that way,” she explained.

“It’s all about showing kindness, love, compassion and support. We need to give these kids the life skills they need, otherwise we’re just setting them up for failure.”

When asked whether she had access to the media mentioned during her childhood, Hilton said no.

“No, I was only sent there (to various institutions) because I was getting bad grades and skipping classes. I have ADHD and that wasn’t really talked about back then.

Following the clip, hordes of Hilton fans came out on stage to discuss the dramatic voice change. One X-user wrote: “Wow, I honestly didn’t know she had something like that in her.”

Another commented: “She’s worn this role like a skin-tight suit for so long, it’s fascinating that she can just put it on and take it off.”

“She’s been doing this so well for decades,” praised someone else. “Get her into politics!”

Meanwhile, a TikTok user wrote: “The voice change was meant to create a viral moment – in a good way. She knows people will be watching when she does this and then immediately got serious.”

“She’s a smart woman who knows how to play a role,” echoed another. “There’s no shame in the game.”

Over the years, Hilton has changed her vocal range in numerous interviews and in 2020 she admitted that it’s because the celebrity we know and love is just playing a role.

Speaking to 7News ahead of the release of her YouTube documentary, I am ParisThe mother of two said: “All this time I was playing a role, so the world never really knew who I was.”

She went on to say that she has “been through so much” over the years and that the world is now “finally” getting to know the real Hilton.

“The real me is someone who is really brilliant. I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just really good at pretending to be one.”

She added: “I don’t want to be remembered as an idiot, but as the businesswoman I am.”
