Vera Wang shared an adorable throwback photo on social media to mark her 75th birthday.

The famous fashion designer posted the black-and-white photo for her nearly 1 million Instagram followers on Wednesday, one day before her birthday.

The photo shows a young Vera in a checked dress looking over her shoulder with a small smile.

“CIRCA 1956. Just me. It was the night before my birthday and all over the house…” Vera wrote as a caption.

Vera shared a short video on Thursday that was presented on the occasion of her receiving the 2013 Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.

“In celebration of my 75th birthday, one of the most memorable moments of my 55 years in fashion and 35 years in the business. Thank you @cfda for this unforgettable honor,” she wrote, referring to the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Directed by Jun Diaz, the N + N Films video shows young Vera walking around a backyard and having a vision of models in stunning designs, including herself as an older bride.

Vera has gained worldwide recognition for her wedding dresses, which have been worn by numerous celebrities including: Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Chelsea Clinton, Ivanka Trump, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Victoria Beckham and Hilary Duff.

The New York native delighted her fans earlier this week with a selfie on Instagram that showed her age-defying appearance.

Vera wore a grey T-shirt, black miniskirt and burgundy tights with matching platform shoes. Her trademark long, straight curls were tied back with a black headband and a fur vest was thrown over her shoulder.

For the selfie, Vera posed in front of a mirror and presented her slim legs and slender figure.

The fashion designer captioned her post, “When it’s 32 degrees outside but your office is freezing… SUMMER IN THE CITY!”

The icon welcomed summer by dancing around her pool in a white tank top, a low-waisted denim miniskirt and white heels.

To protect her skin, Vera put on a hat and sunglasses while holding her coffee cup and moving to the beat of Michael Jackson’s hit “You Rock My World.”

Vera was married to Arthur Paul Becker, 74, for 23 years before announcing their separation in July 2012. They have two daughters, Cecilia, 34, and Josephine, 31, whom they adopted.
