Camila Cabello’s new album “C,XOXO”: Stream now

Camila Cabello’s fourth studio album C,XOXOa love letter to her hometown of Miami, which is influenced by experimental hyper-pop, is finally here.

The LP, out Friday (June 28), features 14 tracks – two of which are Drake collaborations – and is led by the singles “I Luv It” featuring Playboi Carti – which peaked at No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100 – and “He Knows” featuring Lil Nas X.

The former Fifth Harmony singer first hinted that her next era had begun in February when she dyed her hair blonde. The drastic change was her first indication that C,XOXO would find that she looks and sounds completely different from her previous works, with the singer last releasing an album in 2022 — Familywhich landed at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Before that, in 2018, Camila and 2019 romancewhich came in 1st and 3rd place respectively.

“The voice I found with my new album has this big bad boy energy vibe,” Cabello said Billboard about her latest project in May. “Part of that spirit is taking risks, not caring and doing what you want.”

The previous Agree Coach also spoke about collaborating with Drizzy on the album, calling him “the f***ing GOAT.” “It felt like I was reaching for the stars,” she continued, recalling how she reached out to the rapper by sending him Instagram direct messages. “I showed him the album when I felt comfortable enough and he really liked it. (The feature) came from a non-business place. He had this idea for a song called ‘Hot Uptown’ and it just felt like I was in the city. I was in Miami.”
