WATCH: Powerful drama series ‘The Family Business’ returns on BET+

The exciting drama series The Family Business is back with season 5 and starts on July 4th on BET+. The ten-part season was written by Carl Weber and starts with two episodes at the start, followed by a new episode every Thursday and the finale on August 29th, 2024.

Season 5 returns to the civil war between the Duncan family and their greatest enemy yet – one of LC’s own sons. When he, Chippy and the entire clan welcome Vegas home, they are disheartened to see Junior leave the family. While LC does everything he can to protect his blood, allies become enemies, hatching a plan to take over The Table. A thief in the night turns out to be more than just a random robber, leading Rio on a hunt that will change the Duncan family forever. Meanwhile, Paris’ ex, Niles Monroe, unexpectedly resurfaces, threatening sweet revenge.

Directed by Trey Haley, Ernie Hudson reprises the role of LC Duncan, the patriarch and CEO of Duncan Motors. In The Family Business he stars alongside Valarie Pettiford, Darrin Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Arrington Foster, Michael Jai White, LisaRaye McCoy and others.

The series is executive produced by Hudson, Carl Weber, ND Brown and Trey Haley, with producers by Jeffrey Dumpson, Walter Nixon, Sean Ringgold, Abe Brown, Greg Anderson and Veronica Nichols.
