Insight into Brooke Schofield’s relationship with Clinton Kane as TikTok star claims the singer ‘fake his family’s death’

BROOKE Schofield has attracted attention through her connections to singer Clinton Kane and now she is attacking him on the Internet.

The TikTok star released a 14-part video series in which she denied the “I Guess I’m In Love” singer’s claims that his mother, brother and father had all died.

Brooke and Clinton, 24, met through his music, according to Betches.

The creator of the content was a fan, but was not initially attracted to the singer.

He invited her to a concert and the rest, as they say, is history.

The two began dating and everything seemed to be going well, but now Brooke claims Clinton told her a series of lies, including that his entire family – mother, father and brother – had died.

Brooke posted a TikTok video on Wednesday using one of Clinton’s songs as the audio.

“The rage bait works, please stream this song, all proceeds go to his mother,” she wrote under the clip, which shows her playing the song.

She then posted a follow-up video in which she said, “Part one: who the hell did I marry?”

There were no additional words or subtitles in the video.

FAIRY TALE HOUR

In the next TikTok, she went deeper into her topic and revealed that she had a story to tell in response to a shady TikTok Clinton had shared.

“When I opened my phone today, I saw a million text messages from all my friends from that TikTok that Clinton Kane posted saying things like, ‘When I’ve been over the relationship for two years and she just can’t stop blabbing about it,’ which was, first of all, hilarious,” she began.

“Now, no bullshit, I can’t stop babbling, but this is a disgrace.”

“Of course we separated two years ago, but that was a very different time in my life.”

Brooke revealed the nature of her relationship with Clinton and confirmed that she was initially innocent.

Who is Clinton Kane?

Clinton Kane has caused a stir after his ex-girlfriend Brooke Schofield released a 14-part video series exposing all the lies she believes he told her during their brief romance. So who is Clinton Kane?

  • Clinton Kane is a 24-year-old musician
  • He was born on November 26, 1999
  • He is known for his hit single “I Guess I’m In Love”
  • Clinton is signed to Columbia Records
  • He claimed to be Australian but allegedly comes from Brunei
  • Clinton was with Brooke for three months in 2022

“The fact is, I entered into a relationship with this man because, quite frankly, I was a fan,” she said in the video.

She also claimed that he was “constantly messaging her” and often responding to her social media posts.

“Some would call him possessed,” she said in the video.

Brooke revealed that he invited her to a show in Los Angeles and she accepted the offer.

Recalling the outfit she was wearing, she told her followers that she chose “the ugliest outfit she could find” to appear “unattractive.”

Brooke and Clinton talked that night and according to her video, she began to find him attractive.

The singer of Go To Hell invited her to another show, which she also agreed to go to.

After the show, she got on the musician’s bus with a friend and “had so much fun,” she said.

According to Brooke, this changed the course of their relationship.

“I think, you know what? Maybe – maybe – he’s not so bad,” she said.

They then went to a club, where, according to Brooke, they kissed and their relationship began.

After the club, they went to a restaurant, where, according to the social media star, they talked “forever.”

“I learned a lot about him,” she said in her fourth part of the TikTok series.

Recognize signs

Brooke said Clinton told her he grew up in Australia, his mother was a pastor and he grew up very wealthy.

In another TikTok, she claimed that the “first big warning sign” came after they contracted Covid and were quarantined together in a hotel.

They “moved into an AirBnB” on the beach and, according to Brooke, Clinton refused to let her go home.

“For example, if I had a morning where I thought, ‘Okay, I want to go home, get some new clothes, take a shower and just be a human being and be alone for a second,’ he would shut down immediately,” she claimed.

Brooke says she overlooked it and said, “Unfortunately, at the time I thought it was a good thing.”

She said on TikTok that she started dating him at the urging of her friends.

Brooke says she noticed other warning signs throughout their relationship but ignored them.

She described an incident in which they were stopped and Clinton showed his driver’s license.

The police officer who stopped her read the information on her driver’s license and stated that the singer was born in 1999.

“I feel like my boyfriend is a year younger than me, okay? And that would mean he’s about four years younger than me,” she said.

When she confronted him about it, Brooke said, Clinton told her he had given the officer “a fake ID.”

In the same video, Brooke said she and her ex had their first “big fight” on the same trip and were pulled over after Clinton allegedly freaked out about being on the phone during dinner.

“He went on to tell me that one of his main reasons why no one gives him 100 percent attention at dinner is because his mother always did that to him, okay?” she said.

“And his mother was very neglectful, he had a terrible relationship with her, it was very traumatic, obviously it was unresolved since she died, so anything that reminded him of his mother was a no-go.”

MERKY DETAILS

In her eighth video, Brooke began to elaborate on Clinton’s story about the death of his family.

She said he appeared on the Zach Sang Show during the release of his album and discussed the tragedy in great detail.

“He talks about how he had to attend the funerals during Covid and how he had to do it over Zoom because of everything that was going on, and he really just goes into this interview with his Australian accent,” she said.

In her ninth video, Brooke says she was in bed with Clinton one morning and “he was begging his manager, ‘Free, you have to make sure this interview gets deleted,'” referring to the clip in which he talks about the death of his family.

“So I lay down in bed next to him, pick up my little phone, pull up the interview and start reading the comments,” she said.

“And in the comments I see someone writing, ‘That’s really weird. I don’t know where that Australian accent comes from. He’s not Australian, he’s from Brunei. I grew up with him, I went to school with him and I saw his mom last week.'”

She continued the conversation in Part 10.

“We have reason to believe that, first, he’s not from Australia – he fakes an Australian accent – and second, he faked the death of his family. And like I said, I was still angry about the ex thing,” she said, referring to previous allegations that Clinton had cheated on his ex.

“So I staged this whole fight and got the hell out of there, which wasn’t easy.”

When she returned home, she went to see Clinton’s mother. She said she had “a very specific name.”

She found social media accounts linked to the name and noted that they did not appear to be active, leading her to believe that she may actually be dead.

However, Brooke noted that discovering the account made her realize that much of what her ex had previously told her was not true.

“His life was very different, OK? I can imagine the house he grew up in – in Brunei, by the way, not in Australia at all – remember I live with this man and he has a damn Australian accent. His mother is obviously Asian, as is he, but why lie about it? It’s so weird to lie about it,” she said.

“Everything is fake,” Brooke said, adding that discovering Clinton’s mother’s Facebook page made her realize “he is an extremely pathological liar.”

Brooke approached Clinton and allowed him to be honest.

She says he confessed: “I lied about my age,” but did not admit to any other untruths.

Finally, she confronted him with the discoveries she had made.

In the final part of her series, Brooke said she lied and told Clinton she had been in contact with his mother.

“I hadn’t spoken to his mother, but that really upset him. He finally admitted that he had actually faked the deaths of his mother and brother,” she said.

“His father is dead – not that that’s a good thing. But one of three is dead. The rest are still alive.”

Clinton addressed Brooke’s allegations in a statement to his representative at Rolling Stone.

“Clinton Kane and Brooke Schofield had a brief, three-month relationship over two years ago,” the statement began.

“Brooke’s recent comments about Clinton are untrue.”

His spokesman also claimed that in his songs about his mother’s death, Clinton was not referring to his real mother, but to a “mother-like figure.”

“Clinton regrets the manner in which this devastating news was communicated at the time,” the statement continued.

“Clinton truly felt he had lost an irreplaceable mother figure. Clinton was and remains largely estranged from his immediate family.”

He also posted an Instagram story of a black computer screen.

The text above the screen read: “Directed and edited by my ex-girlfriend.”
