2024 US Amateur Local Qualifier Results

The USGA has announced the dates and venues for its 43 local qualifying tournaments in 31 states, including one each in Mexico and Canada. The tournaments will take place from June 5 to July 3, 2024. Registration is open on March 27th, registration deadline is May 29th.

For the first time, qualifying for the U.S. Amateur will consist of two rounds instead of one 36-hole qualifying tournament. The final qualifying rounds will take place from July 17 to August at 19 locations in 15 states.

The U.S. Amateur Championship will be held August 12-18, 2024, at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.

This is the second time the tournament has been held at this venue, the first being in 2006 when Scotland’s Richie Ramsay secured the championship title with a 4 & 2 victory over John Kelly.

Nick Dunlap won the 2023 U.S. Amateur to kick off the fall season in Alabama, where he excelled and received a sponsorship invitation to the American Express PGA Tour event. He won the event and subsequently turned professional.
