Phoenix, Arizona (June 27, 2024) – Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) receiveD a $90,000 Grant investment from national nonprofit Petco Love to support their life-saving work for animals in the greater Phoenix area.

Petco Love is a national nonprofit organization that advocates for change in the pet space by using the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since its founding in 1999, Petco Love has invested nearly $400 million in adoptions and other life-saving efforts. And Petco Love, in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations like ours across North America, helps find loving homes for pets, with 6.8th Millions of pets have been adopted and the number is constantly growing.

“Our investment in MCACC is part of more than $15 million in investments Petco Love recently announced to support local organizations across the country as part of our commitment to a future where no pet is unnecessaryily euthanized,” said Susanne Kogut, President of Petco Love. “Our local investments are just one part of our strategy to empower pet lovers to drive life-saving change right alongside us.
