“I can’t read this story. What do you mean I have to pay?”

Please don’t be that person. All kidding aside, readers have supported our newspaper operations by purchasing copies of the newspaper since the 1870s. Little has changed (we still need the same support), except that we now offer your hometown news online in addition to the traditional print edition. Like your other local small-town businesses, we charge a small fee for accessss LOCAL news. We can’t be expected to give our product any more than a coffee shop, gas station or pizza place could. We believe that an average of 350 hours of LOCAL work per week by LOCAL employees for just $2.00 to publish LOCAL news is the best deal in town.

Support LOCAL, family-owned and resident-operated small businesses by receiving seven days of website access and the current color e-edition for only $2.00 (less than the price of a candy bar or cup of coffee). If you purchase a traditional subscription for more than 7 days, you will receive all of these benefits plus the traditional print edition mailed to you each week!
