World-famous Chinese restaurant is about to open in Toronto

A long-vacant restaurant in one of Toronto’s chicest hotels is almost ready to welcome its newest tenant: one of the most awarded Chinese restaurants in the world.

China-based dim sum restaurant Mott 32 has more than earned its reputation in the world of fine dining – and it’s time for Toronto to get a taste of it.

The opening of the Mott 32 location in Toronto will be the chain’s third in North America and ninth worldwide. They have found a cozy home at the Shangri-La Hotel, taking over the space that Momofuku vacated nearly two years ago.

After months of speculation about when Toronto foodies would finally be able to sample the traditional Chinese cuisine that Mott 32 is famous for, the countdown is officially on: Mott 32 will open in Toronto on July 25.
