Warner Bros. has the incredible End credits Sequence of his new Suicide Squad Anime series, and whatever you think about the morally questionable director of the DC team, Amanda WallerYou owe it to yourself to check it out.

The most striking thing about it—aside from the exquisite animation and execution—is that what initially feels like an offbeat parody of Task Force X is, upon reflection, strikingly Waller’s character. Her attitude constantly vacillates between righteous anger and a complete don’t-give-a-shit attitude—which she somehow pulls off both ways here. What’s cooler than not trying to be cool but pulling it off anyway? Nothing short of commanding a secret organization of government-funded supervillains on a series of life-or-death missions, that’s what it is… and she knows it. It doesn’t hurt to have Harley Quinn, Clayface, King Shark, Deadshot, Peacemaker, and Rick Flag as backup, either.

Suicide Squad IsekaiThe star-studded voice cast includes Anna Nagase as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, Yūichirō Umehara as Joker, Reigo Yamaguchi as Floyd Lawton, Takehito Koyasu as Peacemaker, Jun Fukuyama as Basil Karlo, Subaru Kimura as Nanaue, Taku Yashiro as Flag, Chika Anzai as Katana, Reina Ueda as Fione, Mamiko Noto as Aldora, Jun Fukushima as Cecil, Yōji Ueda as Ratcatcher, Hōchū Ōtsuka as Thinker, Shizuka Itō as Enchantress, Tarō Kiuchi as Killer Croc, and Kujira as Waller. The first three episodes premiere today on Max and Hulu in the U.S. and on HBO Go in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
