Childish Gambino’s IG Live plans release of new song “Lithonia” for July 2nd and says rap dispute was “fun”

Childish Gambino’s IG Live plans release of new song “Lithonia” for July 2nd and says rap dispute was “fun”

Donald Glover, who performs under the rap pseudonym Childish Gambino, recently spoke about the need for more “fun” in the world, which inspired his upcoming album “Bando Stone & the New World,” his latest project under the pseudonym.

During an Instagram Live on June 26, Gambino addressed the premature announcement of the release date of his single “Lithonia,” attributing the leak to the streaming platform Audiomack.

“Bando Stone” is said to be the soundtrack of an upcoming film, but details about the release dates of the album and the film are still unclear.

In his live session, Gambino really urged people to enjoy life more, recalling bonding events from his childhood. “I try to have fun. Sounds like a plan. Maybe it’s easier when everything is going well, but regardless of personal circumstances, he’s right.

Because I feel like there are just people who don’t have enough fun,” he said. “When I was a kid, there were like big things that united us, and I just feel sorry for all of you. I feel sorry for some of you.”

Regarding the current state of entertainment, Gambino noted, “Again, the most fun we had this year was a fight. (It) was a song about a fight, about a rap fight, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was a lot of fun. But still kind of negative in some ways, I guess.” I wonder who Gambino was rooting for, if anyone. That’s a question we all want to know.

In May, Gambino released “Atavista (3.15.20 reimagined versions), an 11-track reinterpretation of his March 2020 project “3.15.20”.
