The Pokémon Trading Card Game is an ever-changing and unpredictable market. Over the last two years we have seen a renewed interest in the hobby due to a number of factors, including the 25th anniversary, strong sword and shield-era sets with stunning alternate arts, influencers, box breaks, COVID-19 lockdown making people find new hobbies, and more. For a while, sets and cards that were readily available quickly became hard to find. Now that the hype is dying down, let’s see where modern sets stand. After a long trend with big jumps every month, we finally see a drop in Umbreon VMAX Alternate Art. This time it dropped by about 50 USD. It looked like this ultimate hunting card was on its way to reaching a value of over 1,000 USD, which would be historic for a modern card… well, more historical, as this is already a record breaker. Rayquaza VMAX Alternate Art rose $40, as did Leafeon VMAX Alternate Art. The biggest jump came from Glaceon VMAX Alternate Art, which rose $80. Just below is Sylveon VMAX Alternate Art, which rose $75.
