The Bear Season 3 Soundtrack: All Artists and Songs

All 10 new episodes of The Bear season 3 are available now. Here are details about each song on the soundtrack, as well as the artists who perform them.

The third season of “The Bear” tells the story of a Chicago restaurant and the complicated and fractured relationships between the characters who work there.

The action is accompanied by a stunning soundtrack consisting mostly of alternative, indie and rock classics selected by showrunner Christopher Storey and his co-music supervisor Josh Senior.

Season 1 featured songs by Pearl Jam, REM, Wilco and Radiohead, while Season 2’s soundtrack included Smashing Pumpkins, The Replacements, Pixies and Weezer. You can watch Season 3 of The Bear now, and find all the new songs below.

“Save it For Later” by Eddie Vedder

During the opening credits, a montage plays of Chicago waking up, going to work, and preparing lots of food.

“(Nice Dream)” by Radiohead

Over the credits.

Episode 4

“Pearly Dewdrops” drops by the Cocteau Twins

Heard in the background as Carmy shares a romantic moment with Claire in happier times, she tells him a horror story about her work at the hospital.

“Spinning Away” by Brian Eno and John Cale

Highlights Tina’s grocery shopping.

“Long Live” by Taylor Swift

Richie’s daughter hears this in the background while Richie has an awkward conversation with Tiffany’s fiancé Frank (Josh Hartnett).

‘Getchoo’ by Weezer

Heard when they realize that a restaurant critic has already visited The Bear to write a review. Then continues playing during the credits.

Episode 5

“Dreams, Little Ones, Dreams” by Walter Schumann and Charles Laughton

The opening title of the 1955 classic “Night of the Hunter” can be heard briefly over scenes in which Sugar worries about her impending birth.

“Purple Heather” by Van Morrison

This version of the song – recorded live at The Troubadour – plays over scenes in which Carmy and Richie receive news that Chef Terry’s restaurant is closing, and continues as the staff prepares for the Tribune’s photos.

“Mixed Emotions” by the Rolling Stones

This Rolling Stones song plays when Sammy Fak (John Cena) shows up at The Bear to help his brother polish the floor, and also when “The Computer” shows up to sort out their finances. The song comes back at the end of the episode when Carmy is looking at old photos, and continues until the credits.

Episode 6

“Get Down On It” by Kool & the Gang

Tina is awakened at 6am by her clock radio playing this unforgettable funk tune. The tune then plays while she gets ready for the day.

“The Morning Fog” by Kate Bush

This Kate Bush classic takes place as Tina is busy looking for jobs, applying for them, and traveling around Chicago looking for work.

“Let Whip It” by Dazz Band

Another radio melody sounds briefly on the alarm clock before Tina turns it off.

‘Sabotage’ by the Beastie Boys

This absolute blast plays when Tina first enters The Beef, where she meets Richie and eats an Italian beef sandwich that makes her cry.

“Got This Happy Feeling” by the Ghetto Brothers

This upbeat tune plays when Tina comes home after getting her job at The Beef.

Episode 7

“No Machine” by Adrianne Lenker

Takes place as Carmy thinks back to happier times with Claire and Richie and Sydney also reflect on the past.

“Save it for Later” by The Beat

The music plays in the café where Sydney meets Shapiro and gets a new job offer.

“Fight For Your Right” by the Beastie Boys

This raver plays while beef sandwiches are prepared, packaged and sold.

“Stephanie” by Lindsey Buckingham

The live version of this song – recorded at Hoyt Sherman Palace – plays as Sugar and Richie have a soulful heart-to-heart conversation.

“Up on the Roof” by Carole King

This gentle ballad plays at the end of Episode 7, when Sugar goes into labor, and lasts until the end credits.

Episode 8

‘New Noise’ by Refused

Played when Sugar is stuck in traffic and is practically giving birth. The melody gets really loud when she calls her mom.

“Baby, I Love You” by The Ronettes

Donna plays it to Sugar to calm her before she gives birth, sparking a touching moment between mother and daughter. The song plays again during the credits.

Episode 9

“Are You Looking Up” by Mk.gee

This melody can be heard while Carmy and the Fak brothers pull cardboard boxes out of the trash.

“Strange Currencies” by REM

This flashback to an earlier season takes place when Carmy considers calling Claire while telling himself, “I’m sorry.”

“Secret Love” by Stevie Nicks

Heard while Richie and Tiffany are sitting in a park talking/arguing while their daughter plays.

“Blowing Kisses” by Jennifer Castle

Played while Carmy is sketching and researching dishes while Sydney is elsewhere looking out to sea.

“A Murder of One” by Counting Crows

This is used when Sugar watches a sweet video of her baby while Carmy mentally prepares for the funeral of Ever Restaurant.

Season 17 | Episode 10

“In the Garage” by Weezer

Heard over a montage of photos and footage of great chefs, including an unexpected Bradley Cooper!

“The Big Country” by Talking Heads

Played while preparations are being made for Ever’s funeral.

“Joy” by The Sundays

Can be heard as the chefs talk about their work and eat dinner in the restaurant at the funeral.

“Within Your Reach” by The Replacements

Also played while the cooks tell war stories at dinner.

“Can You Hear Me” by David Bowie

There is also something going on in the background of these stories while Carmy thinks about Claire.

“Diamond Diary” by Tangerine Dream

This Tangerine Dream song can be heard while Richie is busy asking questions in the kitchen.

“Just One More Day” by Otis Redding

In this live version, the conversation at the dinner table is accentuated even more intensely as Carmy stares at his arch enemy and finally confronts him.

“We close our eyes” by Susannah Hoffs

Played while Luca and Sydney chat in the kitchen over a glass of wine.

“Big White Cloud” by John Cale

Can be heard as Sydney and Shapiro discuss the job opportunity again. The song fades out and then starts again as several characters stare at the “Every Second Counts” sign being taken down.

‘Laid’ by James

This rollicking number from James is played while everyone at Sydney’s is drinking, eating, partying and generally having a good time.

“Disarm” by Smashing Pumpkins

Starts when Carmy is reading his restaurant review and yells the word “motherf**ker.” The words “To be continued” then appear on the screen as the song’s credits roll.
