The California Girls singer imitates the famous sisters with her latest looks

She is known for her hit “California Girls”.

But Katy Perry seems to have chosen Calabasas specifically, as her latest look is reminiscent of the members of the most famous family in reality TV – the Kardashians.

The 39-year-old singer opted for outfits that were almost identical to the sisters’ ensembles, from daring fur coats to maroon leather dresses to trendy denim pieces.

It is characterized by the trend towards more body-hugging silhouettes and glamorous athleisure looks that emphasize the curves.

Most recently, Katy appeared at the Balenciaga show during Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris on Wednesday wearing only a huge fur coat.

She was accused of copying Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori – who was ironically described as a Kim Kardashian lookalike.

The 47-year-old rapper was previously married to the SKIMS founder – and famously influenced her fashion choices during their seven-year relationship.

Kim said on a previous episode of The Kardashians: “Kanye has always dressed me. In the early 2000s, he would literally send me random emails with all these looks and what my style should be.”

Katy’s fur coat was also reminiscent of Kim herself, who radiated glamour in a black faux fur coat in France in March.

Elsewhere this month, the Teenage Dream hitmaker wore an edgy all-denim ensemble at the premiere of Diane von Furstenberg – Woman In Charge in Paris.

Pairing a distressed jacket with a corset-style top and a figure-hugging skirt with metal embellishments, the star was reminiscent of Kylie Jenner, who wore a similarly styled dress on an outing in London in 2022.

Katy was also spotted at a comedy show in Los Angeles in early June, wearing a figure-hugging top and cargo pants.

The sensual yet casual ensemble seemed to perfectly reflect the style of Kim, who sported a similar look while strolling through New York in 2022.

In April, Katy seemed to take inspiration from Kim again when she attended an American Idol event in a maroon leather dress that was similar to the one the reality star wore in 2021 – right down to the matching evening gloves.

That same month, Katy also wore a sheer black mesh dress that was similar to a dress Kim wore at Paris Fashion Week in January.

Even the singer’s social media posts seem to reflect the famous family – the pop star’s recent online posts are comparable to the sultry selfies Kylie regularly shares.

It’s probably no wonder that Katy’s look is so reminiscent of the Kardashians, as she shares the same features as the sisters – including shiny, long black locks and a bronze skin tone.

However, the ensembles are a far cry from the pop star’s old, more idiosyncratic fashion choices, which include a chandelier-shaped dress, a hamburger costume and a bright yellow evening dress with a blue wig.

Her new look comes after the star recently sparked rumors that she may be taking Ozempic or another weight loss drug by showcasing her incredibly toned figure on the cover of her upcoming album.

After the cover of her next record was revealed, social media users began to speculate that she might be taking medication to achieve her recent weight loss.

The artist, who talked about working out at least three to four times a week to maintain her figure, was accused of taking a weight loss drug to get in shape.

“I hate that every celebrity now, even the already thin ones, are taking Ozempic,” wrote one X user.

Others joked that “Ozempic is Ozempicking” and that Katy was “so back.”

However, some expressed that they missed her old look, remembering that she “used to have a big bust.”

Since she rose to fame with the release of her hit “I Kissed a Girl” in 2008, the singer has been widely regarded as a sex symbol by the public and has been described by GQ as a “full-blown male fantasy”.

Speculations that she is taking weight loss medication are unfounded and Katy has not publicly commented on taking weight loss medication.

In 2011, she said she hoped conversations about body positivity would continue to grow after “decades of negative messages.”

“The days of not being socially conscious are long gone. You can’t ignore all the crazy crap that’s going on without trying to do something to change it,” she told Mashable at the time.

She continued, “I know I’m curvy and not a sample size, but I represent a lot of people out there. I want to be relatable. That’s really important to me without losing my mind on this fucking weird human experiment I’m going through.”

During her pregnancy with her daughter Daisy, who turns four in August, Katy revealed that she was “really grateful for” her body.
