The bosses of LOVE Island have signed a US superstar to appear in the villa.
Rap legend Eve, best known for her 2001 hit “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” with Gwen Stefani, will appear later in the series in Mallorca.
A source said: “Eve is a fan of the show and jumped at the chance to perform.
“She’s a pop legend and the islanders will go crazy when she performs in the villa.”
In 1999, Eve, 45, became only the third female hip-hop artist in Story to the top of the Billboard 100 album charts, behind Lauryn Hill and Foxy Brown.
In 2001, she scored a number 6 hit in the UK with “Who’s That Girl” before teaming up with No Doubt frontwoman Gwen for their Grammy-winning megahit.
Eve completed her hat-trick of UK Top 10 hits when she released “Gangsta Lovin’” featuring Alicia Keys in 2002.
Three years later, she collaborated with Stefani again on the top 10 hit “Rich Girl.”
She specializes in television and Movie Since then, appearances in US Roller Derby comedy Whip It with Drew Barrymore and Elliot Page and hosting the CBS talk show The Talk.
Her last album, Lip Lock, was released in 2013, and she made a stunning guest appearance on Hyde Park’s British Summer Time event last year as a guest during Gwen Stefani’s comeback set.
Each season, a famous act surprises the contestants in the Love Island villa with an intimate set of hits.
Craig David made his second appearance on the All-Stars series earlier this year when he teamed up with former contestant and current musician Wes Nelson.
And the show has already gained international fame with its cameos.
R&B legend Ne-Yo recently graced the villa Summer while Sean Paul kept the temperature in winter Edition in 2020.
All the legendary celebrity appearances from Love Island

The cheeky boy from Leeds stopped by the villa in season 4 to play a few songs at a Ministry of Sound party.
CraigDavid
When Craig stopped by the villa, he was enjoying a major career resurgence and he was so good that superfan Anton Danyluk was moved to tears.
Sean Paul
Jamaican legend Sean has one hit after another in his repertoire and there were screams of joy when he brought the party atmosphere to the South African villa in 2020.
Mabel
The following year it was Mabel’s turn to get the villa dancing and she did not disappoint. The pop star sang the songs Let Them Know and Don’t Call Me Up.
Becky Hill
The surprise departure of Jacques O’Neill in 2022 left a dark shadow over the villa, but who better to bring some sunshine back to island life than dancing queen Becky Hill.
