Meet Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn’s famous children, including Kate Hudson and Wyatt Russell

Hollywood icon Kurt Russell may be best known for his roles in films such as The Thing, The Rattlesnake and Big Trouble in Little China, but his family also shares some of the spotlight.

The star first met Goldie Hawn when they worked on Disney’s “The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band” in 1966.

However, a relationship between the two did not begin until 1983, when they met again at an audition for Jonathan Demme’s film “Swing Shift.”

Both have children from previous relationships and a son together: Marvel star Wyatt Russell.

Hawn has two children, Oliver and Kate Hudson, from her marriage to Bill Hudson

Before her relationship with Russell, Oscar winner Hawn was married to actor and singer Bill Hudson from 1976 to 1982.

The couple have two children together: Oliver Hudson, who was born in 1976, and Kate Hudson, who was born three years later in 1979.

Oliver and Kate followed in their parents’ footsteps and both became actors.

Oliver has appeared in series such as “Dawson’s Creek,” “Nashville,” and “Scream Queens.” He also has several film roles to his credit, including the 2006 horror remake, “Black Christmas,” and “Grown Ups 2.”

Oliver married “Shallow Hal” and “Rumor Has It” actress Erinn Bartlett in 2006 and they have two sons, Wilder Brooks and Bodhi Hawn, and a daughter, Rio Laura.

Kate can also look back on an extremely successful career and was nominated for an Oscar in 2000 for her portrayal of Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe’s “Almost Famous”.

Kate became engaged to Muse singer Matt Bellamy in 2010 and Hudson had another son, Bingham, in 2011. She and Bellamy separated in 2014.

Kate began dating musician Danny Fujikawa in 2016 after a long-term friendship and gave birth to their daughter Rani two years later in 2018. Hudson and Fujikawa also announced their engagement in 2021.

Russell has a son, Boston Russell, with his ex-wife Season Hubley

Kurt Russell married Season Hubley in 1979 after they met on the set of “Elvis.” Hubley gave birth to their son Boston in 1980.

As a teenager, Boston rose to fame in 1996 as a production assistant on the film “One Way,” in which his father played the lead role. However, he did not follow in his family’s footsteps in Hollywood.

Speaking to Interview Magazine in 2016, Boston’s brother Wyatt Russell said he studied Buddhism in college.

“My brother Boston is a religious studies major. He’s getting his master’s degree in Buddhist theology and a minor in Hinduism,” Wyatt said. “I think he’s going to go back to school now to get his degree in psychology. Those are things to be proud of and to celebrate.”

Hawn and Russell’s son Wyatt is a famous actor himself.

Wyatt said he was originally more interested in sports than acting and was a hockey player until he was 24, when he suffered a hip injury.

Wyatt recently reunited with his father for Apple TV+’s Godzilla series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

Wyatt plays monster hunter Colonel Lee Shaw in the 1950s, while Kurt plays the older version of Shaw in the present.

Wyatt married actress Meredith Hagner in 2019. Hagner gave birth to their first son, Buddy Prine Russell, in 2021.
