J-pop group Snow Man releases new song “Kimi wa Bokuno mono”

J-pop group Snow Man is back with a brand new summery track.

On June 26, the Japanese nine-member boy band released a new song titled “Kimi wa Bokuno mono” (“You Belong to Me”), which will be streamed exclusively on YouTube and YouTube Music worldwide. The upbeat song is described as “sweet-sounding” and shows a “more relaxed side of love.” It serves as the theme song for Aoshima-kun wa Ijiwaru, an upcoming romantic drama series starring Snow Man member Shota Watanabe.

To coincide with the release of the songs, the group also released a music video. In a romantic first-person perspective, the members of Snow Man are shown having fun and exploring the surroundings of a beach house in Spain.

“Kimi wa Bokuno mono” is the second track from the group’s upcoming double A-single, their eleventh overall. Scheduled to be released in three different editions, physical copies will be available on July 31st and will include bonus tracks and behind-the-scenes videos.

Snow Man was formed in 2012 by Starto Entertainment. The group originally started as a six-person group before adding three new members in 2019. They made their official debut on January 22, 2020, alongside Japanese boy band and labelmates SixTONES. The group currently consists of Watanabe, Hikaru Iwamoto, Tatsuya Fukazawa, Daisuke Sakuma, Ryota Miyadate, Ryohei Abe, Koji Mukai, Ren Meguro, and Maito Raul Murakami.
