Neil Young and Crazy Horse cancel dates of the “Love Earth Tour”

Neil Young and Crazy Horse cancel dates of the “Love Earth Tour”

On April 24, Neil Young and Crazy Horse launched their Love Earth Tour in San Diego, California. A month later, concerts in Chicago, Austin and Dallas were postponed “due to illness,” as announced at the time on Young’s official website.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday evening, June 26, a moment of déjà vu occurred.

“The Love Earth Tour has been a great experience for us so far,” reads a statement on Young’s website. “Great crowd and great music. We had a blast! When a few of us got sick after Detroit’s Pine Knob, we had to stop. We are not fully recovered yet, so unfortunately our great tour will take a big unplanned break.”

The statement continued: “We will try to play some of the dates we missed over time when we are ready to rock again! We know many of you have made travel plans and we apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Health comes first. We want to stay and make more shows and more albums for you… and for us. With love and thanks to all of you at Crazy Horse… Neil, Micah, Ralph and Billy. Love Earth.”

The aforementioned Pine Knob show by Neil Young and Crazy Horse in Clarkston, Michigan, took place on May 22nd.

According to Ticketmaster, Neil Young And Crazy Horse’s has been cancelled Love Earth Tour Dates include Bend, Oregon (July 25), George, Washington (July 26) and West Valley City, Utah (July 29). Their appearance at the 2024 Ohana Festival (September 27-28) and their show at the Hollywood Bowl (September 29) are not marked as “canceled” at the time of this writing.
