Report: Criminal charges possible in Matthew Perry’s death

New reports on Wednesday say charges could be filed in connection with the actor’s death Matthew Perry. The Los Angeles Times Investigators have reportedly linked several people to obtaining the drug ketamine found in Perry’s system.

The popular “Friends” actor was found unconscious in his pool on 28th of October“Floating face down in the hot end,” the report said. He was 54 years old.

In December, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office published an autopsy report He attributed his death to a ketamine overdose, adding that contributing factors included drowning, coronary heart disease and taking buprenorphine, a drug used to treat opioid addiction.

Perry was reportedly being treated with ketamine for depression, but had not received an infusion from a doctor for more than a week before his death. KCAL spoke to an emergency room doctor familiar with the effects of ketamine on patients.

“It must be used under medical supervision,” said Dr. Angelique Campen. “It must be done with a heart monitor and an oxygen monitor and under the care and supervision of a physician. When I use ketamine in the emergency room, I use it as a dissociative agent, for example when I’m doing a painful procedure on someone.”

The new report says investigators are getting closer to understanding where Perry got the ketamine that was found in his system at the time of his death.
