Demi Lovato celebrates Pride Month with a song by Chappell Roan: Watch

As we enter the final full week of Pride Month, pop singer Demi Lovato is celebrating the LGBTQ+ community with a little help from Chappell Roan.

In a video posted to TikTok on Tuesday (June 25), Lovato shared footage from an intimate Pride pool party they attended — or, as they called it in the caption, “just a cute little Pride party.” The “Heart Attack” singer showed herself and her friends jumping around on a poolside trampoline, eating rainbow-colored treats and lounging by the pool. The song they chose for their video was none other than Roan’s summer hit “Good Luck, Babe!”

Fans immediately flooded the comments, urging Lovato to collaborate with rising star Roan in the future. “OH MY GOD EVERYONE WHO KNOWS ME KNOWS I AM ON THE FLOOR. YOU AND CHAPPELL ROAN ARE MY ICONS,” one excited fan wrote under the video.

Roan’s song has been taking off since its release in April. On the June 29 chart, “Good Luck, Babe!” is at number 16, a career high for Roan and her first top 20 single on the chart. On the Global 200, the song peaks at number 20 this week, while the track lands at number 19 on the Pop Airplay chart.

Lovato, meanwhile, was recently featured on rock icon Slash’s cover of The Temptations’ hit song “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” which was part of the Guns n’ Roses guitarist’s covers album. Orgy of the DamnedIt’s not the first time the two have collaborated – Slash appeared on Lovato’s rocking reinterpretation of their hit single “Sorry Not Sorry” in 2023, delivering a rousing guitar solo in the song’s bridge.
