65-year-old killed by lightning strike

Ujjain: A 65-year-old man died on Wednesday when he was struck by lightning in a jungle near Silakhedi village in Ujjain district. Badrilal, a resident of Silakhedi, had taken his cattle to the jungle for grazing when it started raining. He was standing near a tree that was struck by lightning, Kayatha police said. Badrilal died on the spot. Police have sent the body for autopsy.
