Stevie Weber joins The Monkeys Aotearoa, part of Accenture Song, as Chief Strategy Officer

Driving transformative growth and purpose-driven marketing across advertising and customer experience, Stevie will join the leadership team at Accenture Song and The Monkeys.

Weber began her career in Sydney at Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi before moving to Jakarta, Indonesia, where she led regional and global strategy for several of Lowe’s major accounts in Asia Pacific. After five years, she moved to Singapore, where she led global strategy for GSK and Unilever at agencies Grey and Edelman.

In 2017, Stevie moved to New Zealand where she worked at Publicis Media, FCB and dentsu, leading strategy teams across media, creative and design, and experience. Most recently, Weber led a diverse, cross-functional team of strategists to develop integrated and breakthrough strategies that transform the way people experience brands, categories and companies.

Of her new role, Stevie says: “The mix of management consultancy, creative agency and technology powerhouse is the perfect combination that is essential in today’s world to be truly customer-focused. This combination fits with my professional background and my passion for combining these forces.”

Storm Day, Chief Business Officer of The Monkeys Aotearoa, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Stevie to our growing team at Accenture Song. Our shared passion for working with purpose-driven organisations to unite brand and experience for customers is exciting. We are on a mission to close the brand experience gap in New Zealand and Stevie’s incredible experience and energy will accelerate that growth.”
