Experienced singer calls the production team of “Twenty Five, Twenty One”

Singer Kim Yoonah from the band Jaurim Recently, the production team of the tvN K-Drama Twenty-five, twenty-one, sharply criticized for their rude behavior.

Kim recently appeared on the Youtube show Don’t forget your breakfast 2hosted by Jang Sung Kyu. During the interview, the host asked her about the connection between the name of the K-drama and her hit song of the same name.”You have a lot of hits. ‘Twenty Five Twenty One’ became a drama. How did that happen?” asked Jang.

In response, Kim Yoonah asked him back if he would bring up the topic if he knew the story behind it. The singer revealed that she was never informed in advance that Twenty-five Twenty-one a drama was made out of it.

It would have been nice if they had asked beforehand, but they did the production presentation and then sent me an email apologizing for not asking beforehand.

She said the matter was already over when the production team contacted her. She liked actress Kim Tae Ri, so the production was given the green light. However, the singer admitted that the show’s producers paid her a little more than the usual rate for the use of her songs in K-dramas.

The revelation sparked strong reactions from netizens who are either upset about the “lack of manners” in the show’s production or feel that people should put the incident behind them since Kim Yoonah herself has apparently done so.

Meanwhile, “Twenty-Five, Twenty-One” is one of Jaurim’s biggest hits from the 2010s. The song was featured in the 2022 K-drama of the same name, in which Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri.
