Justin Bell of Macomb Dakota commits

The Michigan State football team’s recruiting success continued Wednesday with another in-state commitment.

MSU on Wednesday received the commitment of Justin Bell, a 6-foot-8 offensive tackle from Macomb Dakota for the class of 2025. He is a promising junior and the 24th-ranked player in Michigan and the 90th-ranked offensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports’ overall rankings.

“1000% committed, let’s do it!!,” Bell tweeted, announcing his decision.

Bell committed to Michigan State five days after a visit to East Lansing. He is the 12th newcomer to Michigan State’s 2025 class of three-star recruits. He committed to the Spartans over West Virginia, Indiana, Kansas and other schools.

He is the second player from Macomb Dakota to commit to MSU for the class of 2025. His teammate DiMari Malone, a three-star linebacker who committed in May, is also in the mix. MSU now has five players from the state, including Jace Clarizio of East Lansing and the duo of Charles White and Jayden Savoury from Orchard Lake St. Mary’s.

Michigan State added three new recruits this week, including two three-star defensive backs: Aydan West from Maryland and George Mullins from Florida. The 12-man class is currently ranked 53rd in the country, according to 247.
