TV series “Van Helsing” in the works at CBS

Originally announced in 2021, “Batman: The Masked Crusader” was a project that was launched at HBO Max, but it has found a new home at Prime Video for the premiere on August 1st.

The upcoming “Batman: Caped Crusader” is said to be a “reinterpretation of the Batman mythology.” JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves, Bruce Timm, Sam Register And Ed Brubaker.

“Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant, and law-abiding citizens live in constant fear. Forged in the fires of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less human – Batman.

“His one-man crusade for justice attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions have deadly, unforeseen consequences.”

Hamish Linklater voices Batman/Bruce Wayne in the series, alongside Mckenna Grace, Reid Scott, Dane Donohue, Gary Anthony Williams, Jason Watkins, John Dimaggio, Krystal Joy Brown, Michelle C. Bonilla, Eric Morgan Stuart, Tom Kenny, Minnie Driver, Diedrich Bader, Jamie Chung And Christina Ricci.

“Batman: Caped Crusader” is based on DC characters and comes from Warner Bros. Animation, Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and Reeves’ 6th & Idaho. In addition to Abrams, Reeves and Timm, the executive producers of “Batman: Caped Crusader” include Ed Brubaker, James Tucker, Daniel Pipski, Rachel Rusch Rich and Sam Register.
