BMI’s Chris Janson celebrated the success of his fifth No. 1 single, “All I Need Is You,” on June 25 as the music industry gathered at BMI’s Nashville offices. Produced by Julian Raymond and co-written by Janson, Brad Clawson (BMI), Ashley Gorley (ASCAP) and Mitch Oglesby (ASCAP), the song is the first single from Janson’s album. The outlaw side of me. Following his debut single on Big Machine Label Group, “All I Need Is You,” is the release of his latest single, “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get,” which is currently in the Top 30 and is the first release from the recently renamed label Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.

The event was hosted by BMI and ASCAP and moderated by Clay Bradley of BMI. The songwriters, producers, publishers and label teams gave speeches in recognition of the song’s success. During Janson’s speech, he invited members of his radio promotions team to the stage to present each with a gift. The evening, sponsored by Studio Bank, concluded with a special donation by Ron Cox on behalf of Janson and the songwriters to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
