I’m sorry, but Guy Ritchie’s first film is better than Quentin Tarantino’s

Sorry to break this to die-hard Quentin Tarantino fans, but Guy Ritchie’s Locke, Tinker Tailor Soldier is better than Reservoir Dogs.

The official synopsis for The young Sherlock says: “It will be an irreverent, action-packed origin story of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective in an explosive reinterpretation of this iconic character. At 19, Sherlock Holmes is disgraced, raw, unfiltered and unformed when he finds himself in an Oxford University crime thriller that threatens his freedom. Sherlock plunges into his very first case with a blatant lack of discipline and manages to uncover a global conspiracy that will change his life forever.”

The young Sherlock comes from British filmmaker Guy Ritchie, who will serve as director and executive producer of the series. Before the Prime Video series, Ritchie directed two Sherlock Holmes films with Robert Downey Jr., including 2009’s Sherlock Holmes and 2011 Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. The upcoming prequel will be directed by Hero Tiffin Fiennes, who recently worked with Ritchie on the historical spy action comedy The Ministry of Immoral Warfare, in the lead role alongside Henry Cavill and Alan Ritchson. This is the young rising star’s first major TV project as a leading actor, after playing smaller roles in British shows such as secure, The tunnel And Clean up. Tiffin Fiennes is also best known for the role of Hardin Scott in the popular romance film series Afterwhich already consists of five films.

Will Guy Ritchie still direct “Sherlock Holmes 3”?

Following the announcement of Ritchie’s involvement in the The young Sherlock Series, many fans of his Sherlock Holmes Films have begun to ask themselves whether Sherlock Holmes 3 will still happen or not. In a recent interview, producer Susan Downey gave a hopeful update on the current status of the long-awaited third part. She confirmed that they are still determined to see the project through and are currently trying to find the story.

“I mean, look, no, there’s no update other than it’s still very much alive in our hearts,” Downey said. “Every day we talk about, ‘What’s the best next version of this?’ Because every time I see Robert and Jude (Law) together, which I fortunately do a couple times a year, we hang out together and I’m just like, ‘Can I get these guys back on screen together?’, it’s magical. There has to be a really strong reason, it has to be a great story, and we have some things in the works.”
