Katy Perry rocks dress with lyrics from new song “Woman’s World”

Katy Perry is used to showing off big, bold fashion moments.

The singer was recently photographed in Paris wearing a red one-shouldered mini dress by Balenciaga, which she paired with tights and black pumps. While her dress was a showstopper, it was the extra-long train that flowed behind her that made a statement – literally.

Perry’s train featured encouraging lyrics from her new single “Woman’s World,” including the phrase “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to live in it” in big white letters.

The “Dark Horse” singer’s eye-catching ensemble comes just days after she also left mouths open in a revealing archive dress by Noir Kei Ninomiya, which she wore on the runway for Vogue World: Paris 2024. The look featured cut-outs and floral embroidery made of tulle throughout.

In May, Perry also wore two meaningful looks that paid tribute to her seven seasons as a judge on “American Idol.”

Perry announced her retirement from the long-running competition show earlier this year, explaining during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that she felt it was time to “get out there and feel my own pulse.”

At the season 22 finale of “American Idol” on May 19, Perry wore a gold metallic corset top with a floor-length white skirt. Her top contained seven roses for the seven seasons she served as a judge on the show.

Perry later donned a floaty dress whose skirt featured the faces of past contestants from her seven seasons as she performed an emotional duet with season 22 contestant Jack Blocker.
