Gigi Hadid gave her best friend a present Taylor Swift a ring with some of her “favorite things,” including a sweet nod to a special person in her life – her cat.
The supermodel recently gave her Epoch Tour Musician friend a custom-made ring from London jeweler Cece Jewellery, which Swift’s cat Benjamin Button in the foreground, with the image of the cat “surrounded by a shiny pearl border with burning hearts on either side,” according to the jeweler, who showed a closer look at the special gift on Instagram.
Designer Cece Fine-Huges told Page Six that the 18-carat yellow gold ring features “meaningful motifs and symbols” of her “favorite things” “so that they can always be close to her, no matter how far away they are.”
On each side of the ring is a burning heart, one with Swift’s lucky number 13 and another with the number 87, a nod to her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelcejersey number. The “unique” piece also includes a hidden “TTPD” engraving on the inside of the strap in honor of their latest album The “Tortured Poets” sectiona project that also contains references to her relationship with the footballer.
“What an absolute honor to create something special for Taylor Swift,” the jeweler captioned the post, adding, “The ring is designed to carry her favorite things with her. It was incredible to see her shine on stage in London and we’ll keep our eyes peeled to hopefully see her wearing it soon.”
Although we don’t know Swift’s exact opinion on this thoughtful gift, it received approval from Hadid, who commented, “It’s perfect” under the post.
